Zusammenfassung: | On the basis of a mathematical model of the vinyl chloride suspension polymerization reactor, the conduction of the constant polymerization rate is studied by taking into account the thermal conditions, as compared to the polymerization at constant temperature. It is shown that both from the thermal and reactor productivity points of view the polymerization reaction is most favorably conducted at a constant rate by means of an adequate temperature program.
