Zusammenfassung: | Because numerous effective treatments are available, we may think that patients with psoriasis do not need to use complementary and alternative medicines (CAMs); however, our daily practice suggests that patients with psoriasis frequently do use CAMs. Indigo naturalis, curcumin, dietary modification, fish oil, and acupuncture were the CAM therapies with the most evidence supporting their use for the treatment of psoriasis [5]. Because citizens are frequently suspicious of doctors and frequently trust unscientific reports in the media or social networks, information has to be adapted to this factual situation. |
