Zusammenfassung: | Fine Ba(Ti,Sn)O3 powder was made by hydrothermal treatment of precipitated (TiO2 + SnO2).xH2O mixed gel suspended in Ba(OH)2 solution followed by calcination. The sintering characteristics of these powders and the dielectric properties of the resulting ceramics are presented. The dielectric properties of this fine-grained Ba(Ti,Sn)O3 ceramic are explained on the basis of the prevailing phase transition behaviour. The preparation of fine BaTiO3 and BaSnO3 powders by the above method is also described. Phases present during successive stages of powder preparation were studied by XRD, infra-red-spectroscopy, thermal analysis and electron microscopy. 21 refs. |
