Zusammenfassung: | The results of computer simulations on a three-dimensional Heisenberg spin-glass model are reported, where the strength of the interactions falls off with the inverse third power of the distance, which should be a good model for systems with the Ruderman--Kittel--Kasuya--Yosida interaction. The results show that this system is in a different universality class from the short-range model, in agreement with a suggestion of Bray, Moore, and Young. The data is also compatible with their proposal that the system is at its lower critical dimension, though one cannot rule out the possibility of a low but nonzero transition temperature. 18 ref.--AA |
