Possibilities of thermoanalytical methods for technological control of alumina production

The authors studied some intermediates formed during Al sub 2 O sub 3 production using a complex thermal analysis as a basis for formulating criteria for optimal performance of production stages such as milling of Al sub 2 O sub 3 hydrate and washing of the precipitate from admixture salts.
