The calculation of three-dimensional parabolic flows in arbitrarily bounded geometries (Ein Beitrag zur Berechnung dreidimensionaler parabolischer Stroemungen in beliebig berandeten Geometrien)

Conservation equations formulated using cylindrical coordinates are used here to derive a transformed system of equations which permits parabolic flows in arbitrarily bounded areas to be described. The flow under consideration is three-dimensional, steady, incompressible, frictional, and laminar. The discretization of the systems of partial differential equations is presented, and the implicit numerical procedure used for the solution is explained. (C.D.)
