Zusammenfassung: | The galactic distribution of pulsars and shell remnants of supernovas is investigated on the basis of newly estimated parameters. Attention was paid to accounting for all possible selection effects, and an attempt was made to reveal a statistically pure ensemble of objects so as to study the radial and z-distribution of pulsars and supernova remnants (SNRs). The radial distribution of pulsars is found to be annular with maximum pulsar surface density at distances of about 5.3 kpc (assuming the sun to be 8.5 kpc from the galactic center). Massive runaway OB-stars and type-I supernovas are also discussed. (D.H.) |
