Zusammenfassung:The thermal expansion and low temperature and low temperature specific heat were measured for Y sub 1--x Sc sub x Mn sub 2 . The results are discussed in terms of spin fluctuations and compared with those of Y(Mn sub 1--x Al sub x ) sub 2 , which show a local moment character. It is revealed that Y sub 1--x Sc sub x Mn sub 2 is a typical, nearly antiferromagnetic in which giant spin fluctuations are thermally excited. 8 ref.--AA
