Placebo-Controlled Trials of Covid-19 Vaccines — Why We Still Need Them

We can address important Covid-19 control needs with continued follow-up of placebo recipients in phase 3 vaccine trials, use of placebo controls in large, simple safety trials, and clinical data from randomized trials evaluating new vaccines.
