Retention of cobalt, cesium, and strontium in the hydrates of C sub 3 S, C sub 3 A, and gypsum
Co incorporates into the solid during hydration as a result of the formation of a Co oxychloride (unstable at > or = 60 degrees C). Ce persists in small amounts in the C-S-H and CH mixture. Small quantities of Sr remain in silicates; in the presence of gypsum, retention is higher.
