Zusammenfassung: | INTRODUCTIONSalmonella is a common organism, causing intestinal and extraintestinal infections among Thai children, especially infants, and leading to overwhelming antibiotic use. MATERIALS AND METHODSIn this retrospective review, data collected during 2006-2015 from the medical charts of patients with evidence of infection, caused by any Salmonella serogroup or clinical form, were examined. We aimed to assess the clinical manifestations, antibiotic susceptibility, and antibiotic use in children with Salmonella gastroenteritis over the ten years' period.
