Readers Respond I enjoyed reading P. Donohue Shortridge's article "Please Stay...Here's Why" in the last issue of Montessori Life (Volume 30, Number 3, Fall 2018). Children enter a classroom that allows them to explore in a prepared environment where materials and activities are designed to arouse their interest, stimulate independent exploration, and most important, ensure success.
