The authors extend the proposed model to defect equilibria and charge transport in beta -Ta sub 2 O sub 5 doped with a multivalent cation. Nb sub 2 O sub 5 is a dominant impurity in capacitor-grade beta -Ta sub 2 O sub 5 in the electronics industry.
