Zusammenfassung:	Conditions relating the junction locations and segment densities of a three-part string having two step discontinuities in density are found which result in exactly harmonic-type spectra for the fixed-fixed, free-free, and fixed-free and condition configurations. The parameter conformations are different in each case. An outline is given for the corresponding procedure for the four-part and N-part strings.
