Zusammenfassung:The preliminary results of an ongoing experimental effort to develop a thin-film solid-state battery for electrical vehicle applications are discussed. Attention is given to experimental work carried out using electrolyte and composite electrode films obtained by solution casting techniques. The temperature cycling behavior of Li/POE/TiS2 and Li/POE/V6013 cells at 80-100 C was examined, and some typical results are given in a table. Preliminary results for polymer electrolyte batteries operating at room temperature are also presented.
