Zusammenfassung:The authors have attempted to study the production of Z sub(2)-centres in X-irradiated Gd super(2+) doped NaCl crystals. One can study the bleaching kinetics of F-centres and the kinetic formation of Z sub(2)-centres by studying the area under the TL peaks observed in crystals bleached with different doses of F-light. In the present case, since TL peaks are not isolated, instead of area, the TL peak intensity is taken as a measure of concentration of a particular color centre.
