Zusammenfassung: | The strength and toughness of discontinuous fiber reinforced composites were evaluated as a function of fiber length, fiber type, fiber volume and resin-fiber adhesion. Glass, car bon and aramid fiber reinforced nylon 6/6 composites, prepared by both extrusion com pounding and long fiber pultrusion techniques, were injection molded and characterized in tensile, Izod impact, and instrumented falling dart impact testing. |
