Zusammenfassung:One can synthesize compounds of the type La sub 2--x Sr sub x CuO sub 4 which have the perovskite structure from alloys by direct oxidation. Partial oxidation of Cu alloys allows one to produce adherent films at least as thick as 80 mu m on Cu metal. It is believed that by careful control and adjustment of alloy composition, oxygen partial pressure, reaction time, and temperature, it should be possible to fabricate superconducting films on metal substrates. The possibility of preparing other types of compositions and/or structures from appropriate alloys with O or other oxidants (e.g. silicon, Cl sub 2 , fluorine) also exist and are explored. 9 ref.--AA
