Zusammenfassung:	A study is made of the influence of observational selection on the catalog distributions of the morphological types of isolated galaxies and components of pairs. It is shown that the differences between the morphological compositions of different catalogs, and also indications of a nonrandom nature of combining in pairs may be interpreted as selection effects.
