Zusammenfassung:	•Cubital tunnel is a commonly treated condition in hand therapy clinics.•Inconsistences in compliance with prescribed traditional extension orthoses have been noted.•CTCO design prevents pressure on the ulnar nerve at the level of the cubital tunnel and allows approximately 90° of elbow flexion with dynamic passive extension of elbow at rest.•CTCO may increase patient orthosis wear compliance in comparison with traditional methods.
