Both thermometers agree that the H group equilibrated to a significantly lower temperature, 820°–830°C, than the L and LL groups. The two thermometers disagree on the value of the higher temperature of equilibration of the L and LL groups, giving values of 860°C (Lindsley) to 930°C (Kretz). |
