On the Periodic Discrete Prolate Spheroidal Sequences

The basic properties of the eigenvalues of the periodic discrete prolate spheroidal sequences are presented. The significant characteristic differences between them and the eigenvalues of the well studied prolate spheroidal functions and discrete prolate spheroidal sequences are emphasized.
