On existence and uniqueness in incremental thermoelasticity

The equations of small thermoelastic deformations superposed on a general nonlinear thermomechanical deformation derived by Iesan (1980) are investigated analytically. The abstract temporally inhomogeneous equation of the problem of existence and uniqueness is solved using semigroup theory.
