Zusammenfassung:A one-dimensional Fe II coordination polymer (CP) has been formed which includes the redox-active ligand bis-pyridyltetrathiafulvalene (py 2 TTF) and a Schiff base-like N 2 O 2 ligand. This CP is both spin crossover (SCO) and redox-active in the solid-state, and chemical oxidation results in SCO modification. A 1-D chain CP with both SCO and redox activity has been successfully prepared by the combination of a bis-pyridyl functionalised TTF core and a Schiff base-like N 2 O 2 ligand.
