Zusammenfassung:One of the nearest and best studied regions of high-mass star formation is located in the Orion molecular cloud. The present investigation is concerned with the first observation of CO emission by interferometric means. Attention is given to observations of CO emission from Orion A made during the winter of 1982-1983, the obtained fringe amplitude spectrum, the hot core, and the plateau source. The hot core is a hot (200-250 K), dense component witlh a V(LSR) approximately 5 km/s, which was first detected by Barrett et al. (1977) on the basis of NH3 emission. From the (C-13)O line intensity, a mass of 5 solar masses can be computed for this region.
