Zusammenfassung: | A unified iterative method for solving systems of linear equations is presented. It is applicable to the traditional linear iterative techniques (Jacobi, Gauss-Seidel and Relaxation methods). The idea is to modify the relaxation method by introducing a new parameter.
The validity of the method is verified with some examples to illustrate the merits and shortcomings of the various techniques. A compact subroutine JGSOR for using the formalation is included. |
