Zusammenfassung: | The C2, CN, SiC2, and CH molecular absorption bands of 56 carbon stars are analyzed quantitatively on the basis of the spectroscopic observations reported by Ogansian et al. (1985); the results are presented in tables and graphs. Features noted include a separation of early and late stars in the C2 Swan-system red /blue index diagram, a separation of R and N stars in the (C-12)N /(C-13)N index diagram, and a correlation between the 4976-A Merrill-Sanford band and the 5896/5890-A Na I doublet.
