Zusammenfassung: | This is a case of an 8-year-old boy with a chief complaint of left-lower-quadrate abdominal pain for 3 days. Examination revealed swollen left hemi-scrotum and scrotal ultrasound showed a para-testicular cystic mass, which was later proven to be a torsion of a benign scrotal tunica cyst during emergent scrotal exploration. Torsion of the tunica vaginalis cyst is a rare cause of acute scrotum, and we present this case to share our experience of diagnosis and management of this peculiar disease. |
