Zusammenfassung: | This paper is concerned with the prediction of mechanical properties of hot rolled carbon steel sheets when the manufacturing conditions are given. By using the calculation models of structure changes during hot deformation and subsequent cooling and the relationship between the hardness and the transformation temperature of the structure during cooling, the hardness can be calculated from the manufacturing conditions. A comparison of the predicted and the observed tensile strengths of sheets hot rolled in a laboratory mill is reported. 5 ref.--AA |
