Zusammenfassung:The authors present a new maximum likelihood (ML) frequency estimator for multipath channels with sparse impulse response, which is typical for many communications scenarios. The proposed algorithm is based on searching for a maximum in a sum of nonlinear transformed path periodograms. The high accuracy performance of the proposed frequency estimator is demonstrated by simulation.
