Zusammenfassung:A new double-layer electroplated steel sheet has been developed, which is composed of an upper Zn-Fe layer provides good paint adhesion and a lower Zn-Ni layer intended to improve corrosion resistance. Nickel content of 10-15% and iron content more than 80% were desirable. Besides corrosion resistance, the steel sheet exceeded the conventional coated steel sheets also in the properties such as paint adhesion, workability and spot weldability.
