Zusammenfassung: | Over the period from August 1978 to October 1982, several large low-energy (
E < 1.6 Mev) proton events associated with interplanetary travelling disturbances observed at 1 AU by ISEE-3, appeared not to be triggered by solar flares. Six of them can be associated with filament eruptions as the source of the disturbances. We have made a comparative study of the particle fluxes in the interplanetary medium, as well as of the available H-alpha observations and X-ray and radio emission, between these events and those associated with disturbances generated by solar flares. |
