[...]one important diagnostic aid is still missing and that is a rapid test, such as those veterinary virologists have developed and used to good effect in programmes for the control of rinderpest and peste des petits ruminants, for example. The One Health concept was developed in recognition of the importance of collaboration between veterinarians and physicians to help solve global health problems; it is needed now more than ever. |
