Zusammenfassung: | An observational diagram for eclipsing binary systems is presented in order to provide fundamental data for a relationship between the angular momenta (J) and the mass (M). J is quantified for a circular orbit and relations are defined among the orbital radii relative to the gravity center, the components' masses, the total mass, and the mass ratio. An equation is described and used to obtain the J value for 1048 eclipsing binaries, and J-M diagrams are generated for detached, semi-detached, and contact systems. A slope for the three systems clusters around 1.92. Further applications of the diagrams to the local supercluster and the metagalaxy demonstrate that a universal cosmogonic mechanism may exist, which was predicted by the cosmological principle of a hadronic fireball. |
