Zusammenfassung:KCRC-16-0008), the medical charts of consecutive adult patients with suspected IP who underwent SLB (partial lung resection by video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS)) and were admitted postoperatively to the open ICU at Kanagawa Cardiovascular and Respiratory Center from April 2013 to September 2016 were reviewed. (Table 1) Multivariate analysis identified epidural anesthesia (Odds Ratio (OR) 0.21, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.05–0.84, p = 0.03), operation for right lung (OR 6.29, 95%CI 1.24–31.8, p = 0.03) and BMI (OR 1.52, 95%CI 1.23–1.89, p < 0.001) as significant predictive factors.
