Zusammenfassung: | Primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) is well recognized in the First Nations (Indigenous) population of British Columbia (BC), Canada [1]. It is unknown whether prior intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) predisposes to development of PBC in this population. Such an association in this community has never been reported. We present 3 patients of First Nations descent who developed PBC after post-partum resolution of ICP. |
