Zusammenfassung: | Multi-pass drawing using approximately 20% reduction in area per pass was carried out on annealed ETPC copper, 6061 aluminum and SAE 1018 steel. It was found that each metal had a particular flow curve which described its plastic behavior in drawing at large strain of up to 99% reduction in area. The formulation of a dimensionless-drawing modulus appears to be justified from theoretical consideration. It resulted in reasonable correlation of the drawing data with predictions based on single-pass analysis modified by multi-pass uniform flow stresses. |
