Zusammenfassung: | We report work, both recently completed and still in progress, on significant improvements to wavelengths, energy levels and oscillator strengths of neutral and singly ionized atoms of astrophysical importance, mainly in the iron group, carried out by means of high resolution Fourier transform spectroscopy from the near infrared to the vacuum ultraviolet regions. In some cases hyperfine structure has also been analyzed. We also report highly accurate measurements of absolute wavelengths of certain transitions relevant to studies of possible variations of the fine structure constant. |
