Patients able to complete an online preoperative screening tool are younger, but have similar comorbid status and health literacy

To test the feasibility of implementing an online preoperative questionnaire at our institution, we surveyed patients during their visit to the preoperative evaluation clinic (PEC) regarding their ability to access the internet and complete an online survey. The Vanderbilt University Medical Center Institutional Review Board determined that this study was exempt as a quality improvement project.
