Zusammenfassung:We propose an approximation approach for estimating the system performance of a manufacturing cell using a Rotation rule for production sequencing. The method has two steps. We first decompose the system into several sub-systems, then we approximate the arrival rates at each sub-system. Computational results show that the method estimates the system throughput with high accuracy.
