Zusammenfassung:Auger et al express their appreciation to the comments made by Seiermann and Gabrysch to their article on Ramadan and risk of preterm birth, and agree that in addition to fasting, Ramadan may lead to suboptimal diet quality, interfere with sleep quality, and generate psychosocial stress. However, the literature does not support diet quality and sleep as meaningful determinants of preterm birth.
