Zusammenfassung:Abstract Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is the most common congenital infection and infectious cause of fetal anomaly and neurologic injury. However, treatment strategies for congenital CMV (cCMV) infection during pregnancy remain elusive. We report a case of hydrops fetalis secondary to cCMV infection with minimal sequelae after maternal and subsequent neonatal treatment with valganciclovir.
