Zusammenfassung:Small Particles and Inorganic Clusters [Proc. Conf.], Lausanne, Switzerland, Sept. 1980. MgO single crystals implanted with magnesium ions and subsequently annealed exhibit an optical absorption due to Mg aggregates. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) confirms the presence of such precipitates. Their evolution with annealing temperature and time is investigated by TEM observations. Their mean size D grows as t exp 1/6 for an isothermal annealing at 1073 deg K. 11 ref.--AA.
