Zusammenfassung: | To date, there is only one published single center study comparing the rate of ADP between the real-time pressure sensing technique and the traditional LOR technique [5]. [...]the aim of this international multicenter study was to determine accidental dural puncture rate and its complications comparing the use of real-time pressure sensing technology and traditional LOR technique in parturients requesting labor epidural analgesia. [...]this is the first and large scale international multicenter study in the literature, we report the experience of 4 institutions using a novel pressure-sensing device to locate the epidural space in parturients requesting labor epidural analgesia. [...]studies should aim to determine the success rate and cost-effectiveness of this continuous real-time pressure sensing technology.Declaration of competing interest The authors declare that they have no conflicts of interest.Acknowledgment This study has presented at the Anesthesiology Annual Meeting is organized by American Society of Anesthesiologists, on October 19–23, 2019 at Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida, United States of America. |
