Measuring dispersion in single-mode fibers in the 1.1-1.3 micro m spectral region--a pulse synchronization technique
Experimental results on 3 single-mode Ge-doped SiO sub 2 fibers are compared, and the importance of matching the min. dispersion wavelength with the local loss min. in fiber design is discussed.
