Low energy gamma-ray observations of CG135+1 and CG195+4

Regions of the sky containing the high energy γ-ray sources CG135+1 and CG195+4 were searched for X-ray and γ-ray emission in the energy range from 20 keV to 25MeV from balloon altitudes on October 8, 1978. A 5σ excess was measured in the counting rate of the telescope above 120 keV from the region...

Zusammenfassung:Regions of the sky containing the high energy γ-ray sources CG135+1 and CG195+4 were searched for X-ray and γ-ray emission in the energy range from 20 keV to 25MeV from balloon altitudes on October 8, 1978. A 5σ excess was measured in the counting rate of the telescope above 120 keV from the region of the sky containing CG135+1 and the spectrum of the source evaluated. No X- and γ-rays were found from CG195+4.
