Observations of Markaryan galaxies with the radio telescope RATAN-600

Observations of galaxies with an ultraviolet excess were carried out in May 1978 with the radio telescope RATAN-600 at the frequencies 2.3, 3.66, 7.7, and 14.4 GHz. Reference sources 3C 286, 3C 161, PHS 1830-21, and NGC 7027 were used. Data obtained at 3.66 GHz, at which frequency the radiometer is more sensitive are presented. Some galaxies were observed by the sliding method with flux upper limits of 20-25 mJy. Others were observed while passing through the diagram of the antenna with flux upper limits of 30-40 mJy. In order to study the variability of Markaryan 348, the radio flux was measured in June 1977 and May 1978. During the year the radio flux change by 29% at 3.66 GHz and by more than 48% at 7.7 GHz.
