Zusammenfassung:With a model of homogeneous nucleation we have calculated the behaviour of a source of clusters in which the nucleation is induced by thermalization of the metal vapour by a carrying inert gas in a converging nozzle. It is shown that the cluster size distribution is mostly sensitive to the initial supersaturation of the metallic vapour and that double size distribution can be obtained. As an example, the case of Li and He is presented.
