Zusammenfassung:Effects induced upon gas adsorption in the photoelectron energy spectrum of TiN(100) are studied using the angle resolved photoemission technique. Adsorption induced energy shifts of a state located about 3 eV below the Fermi level are observed. This allow an unambigous identification of the state as a surface induced state. Results obtained after exposures of CO, O 2, H 2 and N 2 are reported and discussed.
