New Infrared Absorption Bands of Alkali Vapors
Two new infrared absorption bands in K vapor are identified. The band between 1.1 and 1.6 mu m is attributed to the < transition, the absorption analog of the intense emission continuum of H. absorption at wavelengths > 1.6 mu m is probably due to trimers.8 refs.--AA
